- [What's New?]

Welcome to fradu-hawks.co.uk - the 'FRADU Hawks' web-site.

The Hawker-Siddeley (later British Aerospace) Hawk served with the Fleet Requirements & Air Direction Unit (FRADU) at both RNAS Yeovilton and RNAS Culdrose for close to twenty years until its withdrawal in June 2013. A type commonly associated with the Royal Air Force and its aerobatics team; the Red Arrows, its role and use within the Royal Navy, where it has provided sterling service without the loss of a single aeroplane, is often overlooked.

Numerous Hawk platforms have served with the FRADU unit, and it is the long-term aim to feature each airframe and include details of where and/or if they survive today.
